Won in a Goodreads giveaway. A good spy thriller with current event themes. Love the witty banter and fast paced action. I really enjoyed the book.

Current climate political-financial thriller with Russia injecting over 200 billion fake dollars into the US to cause turmoil and it did just that. An exciting novel, but sad to say good bye to the cast because I really like Carmellini's character. Hopefully there will be a new adventure.

This is probably closer to a 3.5 star book. It was just sort of okay. Not sure why. It just didn't seem to grab me like a lot of his other books have. The flow was decent the story line was pretty good but I just never got into.

The investigation of the kidnapping of a friend of a Senator leads to the discovery of massive amounts of Russian cash flowing through an Estonian branch of the Bank of Scandinavia by the CIA. Investigation leads to a plot to destabilize the USA with a group of worst case versions of current liberal politicians and other characters that goes farther than even they expected. I enjoyed the action sequences and the two main characters Jake Grafton, director of the CIA, and wildcard former thief Tommy Carmellini. I received a free ARC through Goodreads First Reads Giveaways.

Very thinly disguised pro-Trump political screed. Too bad, because it had an interesting premise.
