I finally finished this. I almost DNF'd this but when I told my client that I was listening to it, he was so excited. This just wasn't my jam. I feel bad giving it 3 stars (that's more stars than I actually want to give it) because it's not the authors fault this isn't my preferred read. It was good I suppose. It definitely was a fun mystery/story. My client better not think I'm reading more than this one. There are TWENTY EIGHT Jack Reacher books. That is so wild to me. Also I've been waiting for this book for 18 weeks. So many people have had it on hold. Anyway, I'm glad it's over. I'm glad I finished it. I'm most glad that I get to focus on my other reads that I am actually enjoying!

This was looonngg. And it didn’t need to be. It was okay. Didn’t end how I thought it would.

My adhd hyperfixated on this book series so now, after impulse buying about half of the many many books in this series, I will be reading more of the series

I have a new fictional crush!!

Thought I'd try some books outside my comfort genres, and I'm glad I did.

Jack Reacher is the man you want on your side when the chips are down. He's military trained, fearless, calm and analytical in dangerous situations, yet he always calculates reaction and consequence so innocents will not be harmed.

This was an easy read. No highbrow fiction here, but a great read nonetheless. And, I learned a lot about weaponry and military tactics. It was a blast and not my usual genre of choice - but I was thoroughly satisfied.

I'll definitely be spending more nights in with Reacher!

I've had this book on my list for quite a while and it was an entertaining read, it was remarkably unbelievable even for fiction. At no point did I believe Reacher was in danger and the suspects were all obvious from the beginning.

I would recommend this book as a vacation read, easy and full of action scenes. It definitely is not a classic in the making.
