A great read

I loved Buttercup's story and her name as I'm a big Princess Bride fan, lol. I would have loved to have learned about her father's story, but it was still a fantastic read.

This read is part of a lose series, and can be read as a standalone. It's just full of lighthearted fun, something we all need. The different type of magical folks was pretty cool. Really just a happy easy read.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Buttercup was so good. This half Siren half succubus and her harem of men ranging from Vampire Logan, Demon Monk Magnus, Kelpie shifter Casper, and Sphinx shifter Ausar are hot and so adorable together

Talk about sweet treats!

Needing a little more social fun in her life, Buttercup goes on a girls night out, that brings a number of mates her way. Hot, hot fun adventures abound.

Buttercup is a siren. She moved to Silver Springs to start a new life. When she receives upsetting news about her ex boyfriend, she decides to have a night out with her girls at Vee, the town's only club (read Rose by Jewels Arthur to find out more about Vee). Logan, Vee's new bartender, is also a vampire and Buttercup can't quite explain her attraction to him. He seems interested in her too one moment and the next he is courting another girl. While dancing, she catches the eye of Magnus, a demon, and Casper, a kelpie. Both turn out to be her mates, and who knew that having sex with a demon will release your demon powers if you had any. It came as a surprise to Buttercup, now a half siren and a half demon. The next day, she meets her third mate Ausir, a sphinx. However she can't denied her attraction to Logan, anymore and cleared any misunderstanding, Buttercup now has 4 mates.

Buttercup was a nice read, although I felt like everything happened too fast: finding her mates one after the other, falling in love right away and accepting everything that came her way. However, I liked how we also see characters from the other books in the Spell Library series.
It's a fast-burn and standalone story.

I was kindly provided with an ARC by the author, but I'm leaving a voluntary and honest review.

I love, love, love this book. It was so well done and so steamy for a novella. The characters were so great that I really hope that Helen Scott writes more to the Buttercup story. I really like that some of the men knew Buttercup before the spell hit and were already interested in her. It wasn't all instalove. In addition, I loved Scott's writing style and will definitely read more of her books!
