This book is so fun and a great, fast read for when you're in a reading slump. There's a decent side plot, and the main two characters have such funny interactions. I think this book could've had more plot details and schemes, but I still had a lot of fun throughout this read!

I recommend it to people looking for tension, small politics, gang side-plots, mafia, and spice

Definitely read the trigger warnings. But I DEVOURED this book. A lot funnier than I expected it to be, and the slow burn had me giddy by the end. The spicy scenes were great and I loved the ending, which is honestly not something I can say often.

The writing took some time to get used to, but eventually I didn’t mind all the internal monologuing. It was tough to get through the first part of the book because of the immaturity of the two main characters but once they were together and married, their character development was significant. I surprisingly liked this book. I tend to stay away from mafia type romances because some times they can be a little too dark.

It wasn't cringe, and kept me entertained. What else should I expect from a mafia romance?

Miscommunication tropes, enemies-to-lovers literal dramatics, and the rough tone of language, considering the age, were quite immature. There's this immediacy that was toxic to a relationship to start off, but it was easily consumed for the most part due to the short chapters. I'm not a big fan of the violence, and the storyline was a bit lackluster; the scenes were short, and if it was fast-paced, it was just that it was detailed on parts I don't like that much. Overall, there were areas that could have been improved and some side characters to be given spotlight.

This was good! This was really entertaining overall. This is also very fast paced which I loved. I liked how this was truly enemies to lovers. I love Aida from the start, I think she's amazing. She's a firecracker lol but she's really smart and I loved that. I also liked she shows people who underestimate her wrong. I know some people don't like her but I did. Callum on the hand, took some time for me. I thought he was kind of annoying in the beginning lol but I understand why. I also liked the whole "touch her and I'll kill you" vibes, it never misses. I'm really interested in the rest of the family members as well so I'll be reading the next book sometime soon. Really enjoyed this one!
