There are things about this book I didn’t like. However about halfway through I was sucked in. The writing style made me feel like I was playing catch up most of the time. It seemed to switch tenses at times. The only thing I didn’t like was the repeated use of “consummate” made it seem a lot more creepy and gross. Overall plot and characters after that point were likable.

too fast, uneccesary sub mafia trope, enemies for 2 seconds, illustrations (in my case that's not a good thing), I don't like chigaco

Was getting into until callum was weird during the shower scene and it kind of soured for me. She can do better than him

Not what I was expecting…writing style seemed very “immature” yet a LOT OF SMUT. Beginning to realize that I want a Mafia romance that isn’t so explicit (if that even exists).

Definitely read the trigger warnings. But I DEVOURED this book. A lot funnier than I expected it to be, and the slow burn had me giddy by the end. The spicy scenes were great and I loved the ending, which is honestly not something I can say often.
