The sex was hot. The drawings were a cool touch except that the woman drawn didn’t match the description in the book. I liked the link to the music playlist.

But I just don’t think I’m a mafia romance girlie. I’m just not into all the violence.

I don’t like people who handle their problems with fighting. The entire time they were banging after she shot him, I couldn’t help but think about him bleeding all over everything. I don’t see who it would be feasible to 69 and then hard ride a man with broken ribs and a stab wound on his abdomen.

Brutal Prince is the start of this mafia romance series, it’s my first time reading a book by this author and I find the plot is pretty well written.

The spicy parts are not too much as well so there's still a storyline I can follow like with the ex-boyfriend, the feud between families and also a little bit of political intrigue.

I like how Aida is not afraid to voice her thoughts to Callum, always try to fight her way through instead of being a little obedient wife.

The romance feels a little bit like an insta-love, it was progressed a little too fast for my liking. I wish Aida and Callum has longer time to open up to each other and explore the feelings that bloomed between them.

Overall, it's a pretty good read if you're looking for a quick spicy romance.

I’m curious to read more about Aida'a brothers and Callum's sisters in the next book!

This was the first book I’ve bought blindly due to the cover with the strawberry art. I thought it was beautiful, but I also thought the book was going to be fantasy so I was quite shocked when I realized it definitely wasn’t. 😭 I almost was going to dnf it but since I already bought it, I gave it a shot and I did end up enjoying it! There were aspects that weren’t my favorite and Aida definitely annoyed me a bit in the beginning, but I loved that she really matured towards the end. The ending was very cute!
