2 stars. It was 3 but then I remembered her referred to her eyes as an “exotic shape” and dry heaved a little
It was a pretty cute mafia-lite book. The MC and LI got over their “hatred” pretty quickly though, which is the last thing I want in an enemies to lovers

The spice and the banter are great in this book but for me it was just really predictable. I felt like a lot of the story line could have been expanded upon and built out but it just kind of fell flat for me. I knew from the beginning how the story would go and it just wasn’t super enthralling for me. Definitely worth the read, but just not for me.
