This is a small-town, friends to lovers, best friend's sister story.

Reid and his best friend, Eric, had a successful restaurant that failed when their manager cleaned them out. Reid returned to Port Snow, vowing to never cook again. He and Eric are not on good terms. But he is on good terms with Eric's twin sister, Eve, who he is friends with. He's secretly had a crush on her since childhood. One night they cross the line into lovers. But they don't want it getting back to Eric.

An opportunity arises for Reid, Eric and Eve. But can they work together as a team? And what happens to the relationship between Reid and Eve?
***
Reid is fun and irreverent. There are serious relationship issues in the book, but there's also a lot of humor.

I can't wait for Brig's book. He's hilarious without meaning to be.

I grabbed this from KU because a friend of mine has been reading and loving Meghan Quinn quite a bit lately, and we have a lot of the same taste in books.

After crushing on her brother's best friend for years, Eve can't believe it when herl FINALLY makes a move, and an aggressive one at that. When they end up hooking up, both realize they want more from one another. But when Reid is offered his dream gig with some restrictions placed on it, will he man up and fight for his budding love or give up at the first sign of trouble?

This was good. I can't stand a third act break up so that was predictable and blah for me. The story was cute otherwise.

Kindle unlimited book. Couldn’t finish. Read 60%. So bored. I just don’t care about the characters or what happens to them. Yawn.

Childhood crush. Twin brother, best friend’s sister. She was always off limits. After a falling out, his best friend moves away and leaves it wide open to make his move.  Once together, the starting of a restaurant and the return of her brother splits them up with them still loving each other.

Another funny Quinn book with all the brothers and their partners in this.
