Disappointing read I almost gave up on

Half a star really. Having read other Jodi Picoult books, I had hopes for this one of being good. It is well written, like her other ones. However, I didn't like how the story is told backwards, the side notes about the characters (too many in my opinion), and the many clinical references and statistics. In fact, I found myself skimming half the time over the side comments and back stories of the characters, which really didn't add too much to the story in places. And I skimmed because I was bored. I didn't mind the subject manner, though again, so many clinical references at times that it felt like nonfiction. A disappointing a read.

Every single person should read this book. The topic of abortion was the main plot, however it dove into soooooooooo many different points of view. It was fast paced and had me really thinking throughout the book! So so so so so so so good! Wow!
