Well, well, this was thoroughly enjoyable and very short.
A CSI guy stuck in a lift with a young thug and a retired cop, what could go wrong?
I haven't heard of Andrew Barrett before, but he can write. The voice of this short story is excellent. It's short but carefully crafted.
I'm going to try to read more by Barrett to see if this was just a fluke or a story from a very talented writer.
