Learned so much from this book about female artists, their lives and art.  This was a slow read for me mostly because I was  inspired to look up additional paintings online as I read.  An art history course…the one that leaves you wanting to learn more!

A very important text.
For eons women artists have been completely ignored!
This is a wonderful look at several key self portraitists over the centuries....
Wished it was 1000 pages long!!
