A great book about a book! Redd and Bloo are fighting over a book. They both want it. Which is how I feel when someone checks out a book from the library that I want to check out. The illustrations were simple but very fun. Kids will love how the two fight with each other but then come together for their book.

Made me laugh! You know how they read books that we book talk? Perfect example!

This would be fun to share with my younger classes to talk about the parts of a book, and the need to share nicely.

Difficult to read these books without laughing out loud. Great read aloud

My youngest LOVED it. Laughed out loud a few times. It reminded me a lot of the premise of the Elephant and Piggie books so not exactly a new concept but a fun bedtime story.

I am all for any story that makes books something worth fighting over. Because, let's face it, they are! This book is perfect for using funny voices to distinguish between characters. The written portion is entirely dialogue between two characters fighting over a book. Because I of this, I would recommend the book for children six and up, as they will have to infer parts of the story from some of the illustrations.

But as long as the child you're reading it to is old enough to infer from the illustrations, this is a fun book that is a hoot to read out loud.

This book started off hilarious but then went on too long for me.

So adorable while subtly describing the parts of a book and a little bit of book-making!

More a tale about sharing than books, it does speak to the urge to hoard books. With simple text and illustrations.
