I hadn’t heard of cronicás before but was quickly smitten with the fast-paced, immersive, colloquial snippets this book steers you through. Lots of scenes are going to stick with me for a while.

Me sorprende la habilidad de Fernanda Melchor de contar lo que todo mundo prefiere callar. Un puerto lastimado desde Cortés que sangra a través de quienes habitan sus playas y montañas, en donde a pesar de la tristeza, el dolor y la falta de oportunidades abunda el buen corazón.
