Almost a 4, it does a pretty good job of trying to sound unbiased but definitely leans in the favor of Bitcoin.

Overall some great history facts about the world before crypto and things to consider when making a new currency.

Mind blowing. Although writing style was very different from from what I expected. George became poet at many instances which was annoying to me. Rest was good.

This is not a thrilling read but I found it interesting. Gilder's writing style is surprisingly prolific for a technology expert, which is great! I understood most of what he said, but those that are less familiar with science and technology could struggle a bit.

An interesting take on the future of digital data, with the idea of a "cryptocosm" where data flows comparatively freely, but is also more secure. While this was interesting, some of the arguments against net neutrality in the present were short-sighted and failed to take into account the fact that his cryptocosm future is likely a decade out.

Very interesting topics discussed within this book. Complex topics were well explained by the author and made it easier for someone without prior knowledge to understand!

Lots of really solid thinking and expression and quotes in here. Good vision and depth. Waxes wordy sometimes.

Gilder provides the foundation for where cryptocurrency and more importantly Blockchain can success in a non FAANG future. Goes through stories of origination, ties them to physicists and the scientists of theory before the white papers that put a technical application to a combination. Key starters like Satoshi and Buterin along with mentions of Thiel and other investors before finishing on VR and the rising Blockchain. Interesting but deep foray into the history and where tech companies have failed but not so much into a prediction for companies in the future.
