🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ This was a really cute story with a good message about tropes. Even if you feel like you can categorize everything into a trope and knwo what the ending will be like, you cant let that stop you from pursuing something - that you should take agency and still live out your life.

I think the miscommunication trope was cute initially but as things unraveled i only wish kendall would stop assuming things when clearly miscommunication was the issue (and she even acknowledges hating the trope, come on girl!). I loved the pairing but I only wish the FMC was more loveable rather than immature.

Overall I enjoyed the spicy romance scenes and wish there were more. I'm glad I picked up this read, I ended up prioritizing finishing this before other books because it was so cozy and enjoyable.

The first half? Loved it very much, despite how the story started (Super-insta lovey) but the rest kinda went downhill for me. Second-hand embarrassments, cringy af and super dumb. Sorry not sorry. The female character was definitely not it.

Overall a cute and fun read! There was a little too much miscommunication happening for me, but I really loved the dialogue and seeing them interact. It felt like a very level playing field the whole time, and I like that they matched each other very well. They felt awkward in a very real way, and I loved that their feelings were all very reciprocal and they were open with each other once they had that very open conversation.

This was such a cute new adult romance! I loved that the author talked about how to build and ruin a plot in the writing. The characters were so sweet and I had butterflies from a few of their interactions.

This book had a good mix of plot and porn but ended up being disappointing.

Honestly, I love Vincent. But I don't love him enough to give this book higher than a one and a half rating.

Our MMC was very well-written and he was just the cutest. But, he was paired with a very poorly-written FMC and it was just annoying.

Justice for Vincent!!!

This is adorable. It’s not anything ground breaking or profound but it’s a sweet story.

MMC was likeable. FMC was not. I liked the concept and the story and how she related things to the books she read. But it bothered me that she hates the miscommunication trope and here we are… Not communicating and jumping to conclusions. Probably my least favorite trope as well. I wish it would have been dual perspective.
