This is a book for everyone who really really wanted Jupiter Ascending to be good.

I really liked this story. The characters were intense and the cultural quirks that the author created were convincing enough. Will wait for the next book in this series :)

such enjoyible read. I apsollutly loved this world, was it confusing? Yes Was it fascinating? Yes .
And plot was so intresting, thing I need to say is that this book is slow paced and has long chapetrs, good thing is that I love both.  Love the fact that this is dual pov. And characters are amazing. Cyra is fantasytic character, her character grown is so good, her gift is so intresting. Akos is litteralty one of my new favorite characters, he so sweet and nice and loyal, amazing characters. Need to say that ending is so good like whole book over all. Only thing I didn't like was part 3 - I feel like it was dragged out. Also I love whole dynamic of Akos and Cyra. One more thing I want to say is that this was hard to read, it's confusing

Entertaining but the plot was a little long winded for me.

What more can I say other than WOW! This was an amazing book and I expected nothing less from Roth. She is a wonderful writer and her works always seem to grab my attention easily!

This world in Carve the Mark is so fantastical that I couldn’t wait to dive back in every time I had to put this book down! A world full of magic, space, culture, diversity, tragedy, rebellion, love, hate, vengeance, justice, and splendid action pulled me in so easily, I felt like I was apart of the world in no time. Switching between two different perspectives, from two different cultures, pitted against one another, this book gave the view of the world in a way that was biased but not, engaging yet passive. It was awesome! I could not recommend it more!
