I loved this book. It was a super sweet low angst demon love story. Somehow Beau was drawn to Max when he was a teenager. Not in a romantic way but just in a way. Max was always attracted to Beau but never said anything. They forge a deal and Max gets better. After a chance meeting ten years later they become friends. And then more. It was truly sweet once they decided to be together. There were hard choices to make eventually. But together they made them and came through the other side.
Truly a beautiful love story with some funny moments as well. Also, everyone needs a friend like Leland!
