This book provides a great take on colonialism and its effect and has abundance of representation - especially in terms of gender identity. Overall a great book with excellent world building and memorable characters!

I loved so many things about this book; the language, the imagery, and the characters. The world-building was wonderful. It felt as magical as any classic fairytale. This is definitely one of my favorites.
