are these making my favorites of the year list? absolutely yes. i’m just as shocked as you because i thought these would be all smut, no plot but NO. THE PLOT OF THIS WHOLE SERIES IS INCREDIBLE. it’s a twisty convoluted spider web that catches you and won’t let you go until you finish every last word. i’m obsessed with everything about these. i was consumed by these books for 24 hours, it was literally the only thing i could think about. the characters and romance were everything, the plot exceeded my every expectation. there was only one part that i didn’t 100% love how it played out towards the end, but everything else completely makes up for that.

i'll admit, when i read the first book i was a little on edge and wasn't quite sure how i felt about this series and trying to find the hype, but then realized i was so quickly hooked, that next thing i know, i finished the whole series in a day cause i HAD to know what happened!!!

very fast-paced, keeps you on the edge. there's obviously some scenes where you're like

SO F-ING GOOD!! This was a series that I thought was overhyped by TikTok. However, I was VERY wrong!
I knew it was going to be good, but I NEVER thought that I would LOVE it this much!! This series takes you on a ride through the very dark journey of a serial killer getting her revenge for the terrible things that were done to her and her whole family. She plans every single detail to get her revenge, but she never expected to fall in love with the FBI profiler, who is the lead investigator in the murders she leaves behind. This Series was such a rollercoaster, but I loved every second of it!
