Reading to understand myself and my child better as well as past romantic partners. I appreciate that there is a lot of information on non medical routes to take but there is also an entire chapter dedicated to meds and I found the info on starting children on stimulants before 13 as a prevention of addiction later in life as well as treatment of adhd fascinating and I’ll be looking into this more. As for ABA, it’s a very small portion of the book and I bristled at first but can understand the inclusion of it when looking at it from the perspective of habits, not as a “treatment” for those on the autism spectrum. This book is about ADHD not autism.

I've been waiting over a month for the audiobook of ADHD 2.0 from my library and I listened to it over two days. I received an inattentive ADHD diagnosis in the last year, and the solutions and concepts presented in this book are incredibly helpful. In fact, I am planning to purchase the book so I can have it on hand as a reference. If you or any of your loved ones have ADHD or are working through a diagnosis, I strongly suggest reading this!

The first chapter might as well have been a biography. I exclusively read audiobooks and immediately purchased this physical book and post its to annotate. I will recommend this to any one and everyone who asks. 5/5, hands down.
