Wow...that was a wild ride Mr. Massey. This was a great read. Action packed and if you blink too fast you might miss something. My kind of story.

Fast paced cult thriller
Massey has created a fast paced cult thriller that does bring you into the story and is well written.
Two young girls witness their mother being killed and are then separated in the services system.
When Mallory now a successful reporter goes to look for her sister, she is led to a place called the sanctuary ruled by The Father.
They tell her that her sister Liz is dead. Mallory, however knows she's not.
This is worth the read, the plot was good, fast paced and an interest twist at the end.
For me, I felt the characters lacked some depth and the ending seemed rushed. Otherwise I'd have awarded five stars.
That being said I would recommend the book.

I started this book at 4:30 am and did not put it down until I was done 2 hours later. This book had me HOOKED from the beginning. The real hero of this story is Ben though, because Mallory was so stubborn, I would've left her. I was absolutely NOT expecting that twist at the end. It was a peculiar twist but I loved it. This is my first 5 star read of the year and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves thrillers. It was recommended to me as a horror novel but I felt it was moreso a thriller.

This was definitely a 4.5 star book! I inhaled this book in pretty much one day and I'm just blown away by it.
I will warn you that this book does contain two instances of sexual assault (not involving the MC.) They are super quick, small sections and aren't too graphic.
My only real issue with this book is there is an unfortunate use of a certain mental illness involved. While I can tell the author did do his research and I feel was able to do it some justice.
I don't have that particular illness so I can't really comment to it's offensiveness or not.
