This book felt surprisingly but appropriately mature for the intended target audience- while the writing style was simplistic, the plot was not. Some of the book may feel a little outdated due to the huge focus on technology from the '90s, but the environmentalism aspects still feel very relevant to the modern day. I found some parts of this book a little far-fetched, but the character dynamics and finding the loopholes of the mystery were very fun.

This book was a quick read, full of adventure and twists. I couldn’t put it down and read it in one sitting. I adored this book the first time I read it, and I still love it.

I don't know if Malorie Blackman had ever written a bad book.

(Also why have so few people read this?! It's incredible)
