I really liked this story! It had a somewhat original plot. My one issue with it was that I felt it was too heavily influenced by the real Royal family. I saw way too many similarities to make this a completely new story for me to read. I enjoyed the characters and the character growth. I’m interested to see where the sequel takes the story and if I’ll see influence more so from Harry and Meghan’s Royal story, since the first one was more heavily Kate and William inspired.

Oh goodness. Why did I read this? I have no idea. Too straight and too boring. Nick's character is flatter than my chest in 8th grade. I actively disliked every single character in that book.

This book popped into my life at the exact right time when I needed something light to fall into and it completely delivered. I loved the nods to the real British royal family and thought that the more difficult portions of the story were handled with care and respect. I love following Bex and Nick through 8 years and I loved that the authors took the time to really delve into the characters and their growth. While the book was lighthearted, it tackled so many topics like familial expectations, making big ol' mistakes in love, and being there for your friends. I'm really excited to check out the sequel!
