This book is so good. If you love crime tv shows or crime novels (or anticipate committing murder), you will love the details of this book. It's easy to read, the author explains complex scientific ideas with stories and easy to digest information. There is so much knowledge here - historical to present day crime solving practices, the flaws and successes. Real cases throughout the world illustrate the topics. I highly recommend it!

Audio is also great, a perfect narrator (after I adjusted to the accent). Listened at 2x.

There is some interesting facts and cases but I found the author really annoying and her writing hard to read because she rambles. Also she felt biased when it came to UK vs US

An incredibly informative book that kept my interest with anecdotes about actual crimes that had been solved using evidence mentioned. Very interesting and worth a read for all crime fiction writers. At times I found it a little wordy and found myself skimming, so 4 stars. :)
