I found this one not as good as the first one but it was still good. I found the beginning was boring but after a few chapters it became fast paced and I just couldn't put it down and I tried not to unless I really had to because I just couldn't wait to see what happens at the end and then once it was over I wanted to read the third book.

I am usually very picky when it comes to angel books and it is actually rare that I will find some that I like. Even more rare that I find a series about angels that I actually like so Susan Ee is doing a excellent job keeping me into the series.

I highly recommend this YA angels book.

Darker and more twisted than Angelfall, World After took me into a very strange universe, in which Penryn had to prove herself again and again.

It's Raffe's sword. He's going to want it back someday.

The pace of this book is a little bit meh than the first one, but it's still as good. Only that the horrors were so intense at one point that I had to take a little break.

I hope the third one is all about recovery because our babies really needs a break.

What I see is something I won't be able to blot out of my mind for as long as I live.

I didn’t like this as much when Penryn and Raffe we’re apart. I think they’re a great duo, and most of the good action happens when they’re together. There was still some great stuff that happened when they were apart, but we get most of the banter and stuff from these two so I think that’s just what makes it better.

I love that the heroine in this isn’t perfect. She has a love hate thing with her family and doesn’t always stick around to save the day. That doesn’t usually happen and it’s kinda nice to see, even if at times Penryn is quite cold and heartless it also makes sense with her family’s history at times.

I do feel it could have been a tiny bit shorter, but I also don’t know what you’d cut out.

Hopefully I finish this series by the end of the year but with my track record probably not lol
