That was a good conclusion to this story. I am so happy that Lola King gave us an epilogue and we get Rose's story. I hope we get to see more Jake and Jaime. I am obsessed with them.

I’m not the least bit surprised I loved this story.
It was so good. So so good.

I don’t even know how to put it into words.
I got so lost in the story. I wanted to stay in Stoneview forever. I want to hear everyone’s story. I could spend all day everyday for weeks reading about Stoneview.

And the spice was ON point.

So spicy ! And delicious.

Jake is the best bully.

Quite literally the best trilogy I have ever read. My issue with trilogies is that I usually get bored.. not with Lola King's writing. I was on the edge of my seat the ENTIRE time.

I would literally do anything for Jake White! And omg, seeing Xi after already reading Heartless Beloved really did something to me.

I savored this one. I loved every freaking second.

Song: Bad Again (acoustic) by Anna Clendening

The last and final installment of Jamie and Jake's story. Not going to lie.... I sat down with a quart of ice cream while reading and I stress ate the entire thing in about 10 minutes. haha! Avoid the ice cream.

"Imagination is sometimes worse than the truth."

Talk about a captivating series. My gah. It had a slow burn of sorts with the main plot before it got to the dark/underground side of things. I wanted to punch everyone a few times throughout the series but that's because I was so damn frustrated! But you'll do anything to protect the ones you love, right? Even if it doesn't make sense to everyone else. There were moments when I felt like my heart was breaking. When you listen to that sad song and feel so damn sad because of the lyrics? That was me with these books.

"Do you think maybe... maybe we're too broken for each other?" "People like us should fall in love with people who can be lights in their darkness. Who can fix them and ease them into an ordinary life. Normal people."

Jake and Jamie. My final thoughts on this hectic, toxic couple. *sigh* Their journey is intense, heartbreaking, full of kinks, and just all around crazy madness. They were so unbelievably mean to each other and as weird as it is to say, I understood their stances. It all comes together in this book with some much needed clarity. Lola King took me for a damn ride. My emotions were on a roller coaster and I'm heading straight to book slump hell.

Best ever!

I have cried and cried and cried some more! This series was my first ever from Lola King but I am hooked now. My heart broke so many times during the White’s story and loved both the brothers too deeply. I was worried how the journey was going to end, and if it would satisfy all my questions and hopes. Well, I can say it was brilliantly done and I’ve become a loyal fan of Lola King forever! ❤️❤️❤️
