With the conclusion of this book I can now brag that I have read all six of Austen's completed novels. This one is often thought to be a lesser novel by Austen snobs but I enjoyed it very much especially the way that the protagonist, Catherine Morland, gets wrapped up in gothic romance stories. I remember when I was in that stage of reading, too.

Ler Jane Austen é sempre agradável sem duvida mas este livro achei um bocado paradote. A personagem principal demasiado ingénua, mesmo para a época, e um bocadinho nem lá vou nem faço nada.
