Readers finally get backstory on how Shikimori and Izumi started dating and goodness gracious alive, was it cute. Not that I was expecting any less from these two, but damn seeing Izumi push himself to try and do something for Shikimori was adorable and admirable. I also LOVED the page where you see Shikimori's past reaction to Izumi asking her out to the fair and her present one. Damn, the use of shadows and lighting in this series is god tier, I love it!

Everyone else was great as well, special shout outs going to Inuzaka and Hachimitsu. They are easily my fave side characters and I love both of them. They are my precious babies, right next to Shikimori and Izumi.

Not to much else to say without spoilers, but I really enjoyed this volume. I know this series doesn't have a lot going for it in terms of character drama and story compared to other romances, but I just love reading this wholesome and sweet love story.

It keeps getting better! “Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie” Volume 4 covers the school’s culture fair. With an extended plot rather than an episodic volume, we get interconnected stories, including the early stages of their relationship, and a well done romantic rival.

These kids are just too sweet!

I really love a good cute romance manga and this fits that bill so nicely!

Shikimori is just too Darn adorable but also amazingly cool! Which pairs just so well with the shy, ever unlucky Izumi! Can't wait to read more!
