Typical Harlan Coben. Liked the fast pace and Myron and Win's witty banter.

I really hope this narrator has won an Audie! So fun and funny to listen to.

ade Away is Harlan Coben's third book in his Myron Bolitar series. I listened to this one on an audio book and loved it. It has a good narrator and hopefully they are all done with the same one. Whit is still with Myron but not near enough in this one although he was there at the end when it counted. Jessica unfortunately is still around but maybe I can learn to like her. Good story and I'll read them all.....

Muito bommm !!!!!!!! O mistério vai sendo resolvido e do nada PLAU mais mistérios e descobertas. Gostoso ver a repetição do passado e mais explicações da vida pessoal do Myron

Awesome book, best in the series, and one of the best of its genre, I gave it a 10.

I started the Myron Bolitar series whilst on holiday in Ibiza in 2011, so everytime I read another one, I'm reminded of lying on a beach and having no worries. In Fade Away, Myron goes back to his basketball roots, undercover in a team to investigate the disseapparnce of their star player. I didn't quite enjoy this as much as the previous two, but it was still a decent enough crime thriller that had me turning the pages.

I liked this one better than the last, I think. Lots of moving parts, but in the end (like all superhero movies, or, let’s be honest, Agatha Christie novels that aren’t Tommy and tuppence-based), it ended up being smaller and more personal. The pseudo-second chance + revelations about the past work pretty well—poor Myron! And it doesn’t feel quite as much like it’s re-hitting the same beats (although it certainly hits some of them!).
I also liked that he shifted away from myron’s perspective sometimes—a bold choice! But it confirms one of the nice things about this series: he isn’t the hard boiled detective who will inevitably end up sad and alone…he has his people, and if we’re being allowed access to them when he isn’t around, I assume that means they’re here to stay.

Good story, love the writing style, so fast-paced, always want to turn to the next chapter and keep reading! Ending is fab as well...all I can say is KICK. HIS. ASS.

I always enjoy the humor and creative turns of phrase in these mysteries featuring sports agent Myron Bolitar. I would never read them back to back, as I suspect the tone would wear on me, but my husband and I enjoy listening to them on road trips.
