Okay, loved getting to know Grey more but super disappointed this one completely ignored the main characters of the first book. Feels like an odd choice. Not sure where the third book will take us!

I can understand why a lot of people didn't like this book- really a lot of what happens could have been avoided if the characters had actually communicated properly. That being said, I don't think this book is necessarily worse than the first one, just different. I do think choosing to follow new and different characters instead of our main two from the first book was an interesting choice, and although I did miss having Rhen and Harper's voices I did enjoy getting to see more of Grey and the new friends he makes. At times this book was frustrating, but it did keep me interested and I'm intrigued to see what happens next.

The woman reader made the characters sound whiny. I think I may have enjoyed the book more with a different reader.

Definitely didn't like this book as much as the first, unfortunately to the point I didn't want to read the third book :( Had higher hopes for this read.
