I was really looking forward to this one because I liked Harper in Elvi's story. But I have to admit I got a little impatient with him in the first part of the book, although I do understand he was grieving. His personality seemed gone. It was Stephanie and Drina who were really the funniest parts of it. Also I was extremely disapointed in Anders.

Um I read this book a while ago, but for some reason, my review never was posted anywhere O.o I know that's a rarity because even if it's 4am I'm generally posting the review of the book I just finished.

Anyrate, I liked this book, it was a little less on the romance aspect and more on the adventure side. It's hard to explain, but it just didn't have the pizazz the earlier books had, however I still enjoyed it immensely.

Rogue hunter Drina Argenis (from the Spanish side of the Argeneau family) has been many things in her years as an immortal, but bodyguard/babysitter to a teenage vampire is something new. There's an incentive, however: the other vampsitter, Harper Stoyan, may be Drina's life mate.

Awesome, As Always

I am never disappointed by a book from Lynsay Sands. The romance, the suspense, the deep characters, and the gripping story that spans across the series... it all makes my bookish heart so very happy. There's a reason she's my favorite romance author. This series is the best.

This is Harper's story.

Ever since I heard about Harper losing his life mate I have felt so sad for him. I wanted him to be happy. That is why I was so happy to see a story just for him and with a woman just as interesting.

Drina is great and Harper is just awesome too. I love that she has to fight her way past his demons from losing his first life mate in order to get him and that he is reluctant to enter into a new relationship so fast.

Not to mention the fact that this brings in Stephanie, a young girl who was turned by a no-fanger way back in The Immortal Hunter. She is just a sweet girl lost to world she didn't choose and having to deal with it. It's a strong story in it's own right.

This was a great story. I really loved it.
