i didn't think this was as good as the last novella, but it was still pretty good. while these are enjoyable though, they are kind of missing a lot of what i love about josh lanyon's books since they are so short

The somewhat misogynistic tone of this book completely ruined the fun silly vibes I had going. Worst in the series so far

Another great book in the series, but as always they are so short. I want more of the boys and it seems just when I'm really getting into the books is over.. and the cliffhanger.. will he or won't he go. I can't wait for the next one.

I do like reading Will and Taylor.
Another exciting romp - this time through the woods, with
Spoiler a serious flash flood, pregnant wife of a russian drug lord, and three different groups chasing them!

and throughout the book, Will and Taylor trying to sort through their feelings and how they will cope if Will does accept his promotion and their separation. Felt for them.

Maybe just 3.5 stars...this is the point my memory is failing me since I pretty much read all six of these as one...

This one has the closest thing to a cliffhanger you will find in this series, but it's a cliffhanger in the personal sense, not the action plot. I can't even imagine reading Book 3 without immediately jumping to Book 4, but this is why I read series differently than everyone else. If you aren't bingeing, you just aren't doing it right!!

But this book also starts to cement my favorite thing about Will, which is his absolute faith in Taylor as an agent/work partner. I don't love some of their decisions here, but I much prefer this real-world/logical approach to an adult relationship than the insta-tropes.

These things take time and patience in the real world, and you're definitely going to need that patience for this one...

If you liked the previous two, you'll like this. Road trip with pregnant prisoner. Suspenseful things happen. Relationship bump about to happen.
