The second and third books of this series were still interesting, but didn't suck my attention in with as many monsters and spooky maps (more like 3.5 stars than 4). But there were still good parts. Like the Nightmare World (book 3) and the stinky Land of the Ogres (book 2).

Plus, I really like the little added things they put in these books to give them a little more creativity. Like searching for hidden keys and chameleons in pictures. Or sidebars that give a little more info about something related in real life.

These are great for your elementary or even middle school kids.

Ik heb dit boek jaren geleden gekocht, maar voor de rest nooit aangeraakt. Ondertussen ben ik er een beetje te oud voor geworden, maar ik heb besloten om het toch een kans te geven. Ik vond het een leuk boek, ook al is het vooral voor jongere kinderen bedoeld. Het verhaal was leuk en de boodschap van het verhaal is erg leerzaam bedoeld. Daarnaast zaten er door het boek heen ook nog aparte levenslessen in aan de hand van notities. Het is dus niet alleen een leuk boek voor kinderen, maar ook een erg leerzaam boek voor kinderen.

Lo recordaba más interesante, pero aún así ha sido muy entretenido leerlo. Me gusta que al final del libro se proponga un diario de la felicidad para enseñar a los niños a ser agradecidos. En cuanto a la historia, ha sido muy entretenido y emocionante "buscar" el corazón de la felicidad.
