Extra extra silly, but I don’t mind.

I like this installment less than the first one: the mystery was too convoluted and done of the connections were way too convenient. But I still found the main cast of characters entertaining enough to continue the series.

I just love this series.. listening to it in Audio book form. Great stories and I love the narrator. She gives the characters life. Now on to the next one.

Unread shelf project 2021: book 45.

I do love Mrs. Jeffries and her group of household detectives! My favorite things are watching the relationship grow between Smythe and Betsy, and any interactions with Luty Belle Crookshank.

This was definitely a very short installment in the series (only 184 pages!), a missing person mystery turned murderous. Such a relaxing little book, though! Light-hearted, fun, and quick to read.

A fun easy read to listen to while I put away Christmas and dusted. Not memorable but fun. Mrs. Jeffries is a hoot. There’s no other word for her and her merry band of staff. The mystery and the American woman were well thought out and fun.

This is the 2nd book in the series and it was definitely better. The characters are more well rounded and the mystery was more complex.
