Its dark. Its messed up. And its somehow quite beautiful.

Great premise, last few pages were juicy and dramatic but the overall experience was so meh.

Non-linear narrative that is even further compounded by the fact you don't know who's memories are being told to you. And nobody's named. The narrator is a real piece of work or as he tells you often "I'm no angel." I liked trying to figure out what was going on and am still fairly certain I missed something. Very interesting, all the same.

I thought this was an interesting little story that was damn addicting, even though it read like a drunken man's memoir. It moved at a quick pace, and was almost 100% character driven. While the world had some interesting tidbits, it was almost only for the characters development. I thought it could have been a little more organized, but then the story wouldn't have had the same effect.
