Absolutely adored this one. Just love the authors' writing, these characters I was rooting for, the romance, so, so much love. Wibbroka's adult books have my heart just as much (and even more, maybe) than their YA books. Definitely recommending it to any romance fan!

So many romance novels focus on the couple meeting and end with the happily ever after… but what happens after the happily ever after?

What if the couple gets married and then, five years later, they’re just… doing okay? They’re fine but have lost a bit of a spark.

I love that a married couple gets a love story in this book - a sweet story of reconnection. Even more fun is that a real life couple wrote it. This book is refreshingly honest. Is it the most memorable thing you’ll ever read? No. Is it a meet-again-cute? Yes.

This is a cute love story, and different from most other romances I read. Instead of calling it quits, a married couple works to rekindle their marriage, only to learn more about themselves along the way.

Dual POV, strong leads, and after a bit of a slow beginning, the pacing picks up around the middle. Good side characters and individual arcs.

This was a great take on a second-chance romance. The way this book captured trying to get to know your partner again and reignite a spark in marriage, was done so beautifully and in a realistic way. I appreciated the dual POV as it allowed insight into how Graham and Eliza go to the place that they were in. I appreciated the focus on insecurities that were based on physical appearances, and the focus that was placed on trust, openness, and communication. David as a side character added a great element as well, and this book was just a great read.

4 out of 5 stars.

I already came to the conclusion that this duo's YA books aren't for me, but I really enjoyed their debut adult novel, so I have high hopes for this one as well.
