This was fine but it could’ve been better. I will be reading the second though because dang, what a cliff hanger.

I am loving the story line and how quickly I was transfixed with this book. I can't believe I put this off as long as I did. Don't wait run to read it. Do check triggers as always though.

Very good. Definitely a mix of other concepts but still a very fun read. So excited to see what happens next!

I loved Trail of the Sun Queen, it has great characters, a great plot, and a steamy romance
It was great seeing Lor grow after being freed from the Auroa King by the Sun King to take part in his Sun Queen trials. Why is he so sure she'll win? Why does he want her to win (Lor is the the last tribune a human - none of who have ever won the trials or even made it out alive) instead of one of the elven princesses? Despites the odds being stacked against her Lor is surviving the trials and even even helping the other contestants in a desperate bid to keep her freedom and earn that of her brother and sister who are still prisoners of the Auroa King.
A great escapist read
