Lola has done it again!! Freaking hilarious, and many sweet moments. I loved Trip and Teeny. And Scar and Mace, God, those two are too much, that pool scene, was too funny, I couldn't stop laughing.

Enjoyed but not as much as the first. The back and forth drama kinda killed it for me. I loved trip and his lack of a filter...I was dying the whole book. I just wish ty got their act together faster and there was less...fighting it.

I didn't think it would be possible to love anyone more than Mace, but Trip is the bomb!! Loved this book Lola, the characters that you have created are so relatable and fun!! Such a sweet story, and totally hilarious!! Loved the birth scene - Trip is just a riot! So glad that they got to their HEA!! Looking forward to #3!! Waiting impatiently!!

After reading Tattered Love which I gave a 3 star rating I was a little apprehensive going into Conflicted Love but I always like to finish a story and not just give up. I was rewarded for sure. Conflicted Love was a much better story. I really liked the dynamic between Trip and Teen. He was super sweet and I loved how he went all in for her.
The story ends with a bit of a cliffhanger and I'm intrigued now to see where Jude and Haven's story takes them. Especially with two very unhappy brothers intervening!

Maybe i didn't enjoy this one as much as everyone else because i didn't read the first one, but i just thought it was ok. Maybe it was also because i have just read some really fantastic books in the last couple of weeks and it was being compared to some really good ones but i just didn't enjoy it as much as i was hoping. I never really connected to either one of the main characters but it is still worth a read.

Once again, Lola Stark delivers a decent read. There really wasn't much conflict in this book, at least nothing that lasted the entire book. It was really just a narration of Teeny's pregnancy. The plot was mostly filled with events revolving around the pregnancy or how Trip and Teeny were both very insecure all the time.
First, real quick, this book picks up with a repeat of the epilogue of the first book and then starts running from there. We see the rest of Trip's reaction to the news that Teeny is going to have his child as a result of their one-night-stand. Teeny then spent quite a while being moody and insecure and running from anything to do with Trip, while Trip is trying to get her to realize that he cares about her, as more than just his baby-mama.
For how little conflict there was, I have to say I was still pretty entertained. I find that happens a lot with books that have pregnant women in them; they seem to be eventful enough, that even if the plot, itself, lacks a bit, the pregnancy drama helps make up for the deficit.
However, despite that, I really got tired of how insecure both Teeny and Trip were. I wanted to slap them at multiple times throughout the story. I would've liked to have seen them move one from being so whiny, so often. On top of that, I get that pregnancy makes women moody, but I don't know how much of her personality to attribute to having a baby messing with your hormones. She was moody and crabby and insecure pretty much the whole book. She's get mad if Trip coddled her but then she doesn't respond well really at any point in the whole story unless the person interacting with her is walking on eggshells trying their hardest to not upset her. I'm guessing that neediness and her frequent crying jags were to be credited as a pregnancy side affect, but I don't know about the rest of her personality with the insecure bits.
Speaking of insecure, the whole first part of the book, one of the reasons Teeny is having trouble accepting Trip and their child is because her mother got post partum depression after she was born and then her dad couldn't handle it and left. If I recall correctly, there was never a moment that showed Teeny overcoming these issues. I don't remember her ever telling them to anyone or even really facing it internally. Yet, by the end of the book, they aren't ever mentioned again. It was like they never existed.
Once again, this book did a good job of piquing my interest for the next novel, but I'm just not sure if I want to read a whole book again, I think I would rather just have someone tell me what happens. Who knows, maybe if the reviews are really good I'll give it a try. But, considering that this book and its prequel were only 3-star books for me, I don't know if the next book will be worth it..

I enjoyed Trip and Teeny's journey. I'm kind of a sucker for an unplanned pregnancy (in books not real life!)
