leave it to Karin Slaughter/Will Trent to make me actually give a damn about undercover investigations.
side note: the Big Whitey reveal had me shaken to my core. brilliant!

I really loved the story and the characters, as always. However, I'm getting sick of the story line (on tv as well) where we see the ending and then we get the flashback to 3 weeks before or 9 hour before. I also don't like the Lena character, but I suppose it's not her fault, it's just how she's written ;-)

DISCLAIMER: The dates read is not a reflection of the quality of the book. My dad passed in July, and I found it very hard to read after returning from a previously planned vacation since it was something he had really encouraged in me.
An enjoyable entry into the Slaughter world, despite one of the most frustrating characters in written history in Lena Adams. Unfortunately, memory is not serving me on a lot of what happened in the earlier stages of this book, so my rating has to be average, as is this review.
