The book is really good and the voices are really good on the audible version. Not recommended for kids under the age of 18+. Trigger warning for rape and alcohol. Other than that the book gives you an insight to the life of a professional athlete in hockey. This is book two in the hot jocks series.

Good romance plot but I felt like it lacked some more substance to further the story, some more intrigue or some more conflict before the resolution would’ve made it a more well rounded read. The same can be said about the first book so I think that maybe the series will continue down this more linear path in the stories being told, not super exciting but a good and fast romance book.

Rating: 2.75-3 I guess?
Meh, I guess this book was okay. Honestly, it wasn’t really anything new and I don’t think it’s super memorable. Anyways, I liked Becca and Owen I just didn’t really care much for the plot I guess!!
Why are there almost always chapters in which the girl is in her period and she’s like “oh I’m out of commission” and the guy swoops in to watch a movie or something and they both realize “omg our relationship may be more then sex?” like gosh that’s so predictable and annoying lol. Also, the quote in the last page after Becca tells Owen that she’s scared another girl will capture his heart and he answers “honestly babe she will. She’ll be the little girl who calls you mommy”. Just, no. That was just TOO cheesy for me sorry ahaha
Anyways it wasn’t bad I think I just wasn’t really into it

I was disappointed in this one after really enjoying the first in the series but it was an alright read. Don't think I'll continue the series.
Just a little boring / dull.

Omg I absolutely love this book to pieces. My favorite Kendall Ryan book to date. It's sooo good couldn't and didn't want to stop reading it. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I loved Owen and Becca’s story. He was so patient with her. I really liked her character when she was introduced in Justin and Elise’s book. This was a sweet story, and Owen from the beginning was nothing like I thought he’d be.
