Decent concept but strange kink shaming and religious messaging sullied what could have been a much more compelling story.

If I'm being honest, I don't always love the whole "less experienced heroine asks very experienced hero for hookup advice/lessons" trope, but when it's done right, it's done RIGHT.
Kendall Ryan adeptly navigates what happens when a friendship becomes something more, and does so with humor and care. Becca's backstory is important, but not defining, and Owen's sensitivity and attentiveness to Becca because of her past is charming and so wonderful to read.

3.5⭐️ This was a very sweet low angst, friends to lovers romance. It’s perfect for a good happy read. Owen was a total cinnamon roll hero and Becca was really adorable and strong. I loved their relationship from the beginning.
My only qualm with this book was hoping that Becca’s past trauma would have created a little more angst in the story before we got our HEA. I also felt like the insinuation that Owens preferences portrayed him as overly dominant was juvenile and not believable. The way it was described instead just came across as very normal and unnecessary to the story.
Overall, I really liked this book

Good book. Wasn’t my favorite but the story was cute even if it was a bit cheesy
