Laughed out loud a lot. I loved reading about more of Magnus's adventures and getting to know him better. I also liked the characters of Ragnor and Catarina; they brought their own humor as well.

But... I wanted to know the incredulous events that had Magnus banned from Peru! Overall this book was amazing, it was great to get some insight into Magnus's travels. Great book, I recommend reading it.

Magnus Bane is one of my favorite fictional characters and I enjoyed getting to read more about his adventures. Yes, a little disappointing that we don’t find out what actually happened in Peru, but his escapades in these short stories were hilarious

Magnus's life is so damn sad!

I can't even comprehend the torment of someone who lives through several ages and finds himself more and more detached from everything. It is a burden I wouldn't want to have on my shoulders.

This short story just confirmed what I knew for a while - all the parties, adventures and glitter are just Magnus's ways to cope with the circumstances of his life and to hide his pain.

And can I just say that every single time I read about Magnus's lovers, especially when he had his heart broken by the Morales guy, I was thinking about Alec?

It kept going through my mind "Magnus, you will find a person that truly loves you. More than anything. You just have to wait a little because he's not even born yet."

This is one of those books that you shouldn't read in public places like the jeepney or bus or subway. Unless you want to be stared at by other people for laughing out loud or giggling uncontrollably. XD

Magnus and Ragnor's adventures in Peru were so epic - making a review (or even commenting) about it seemed blasphemous. Haha! This book was full of drinking, debauchery, magic carpet rides, angry squirrel monkeys, more drinking, cactus, more debauchery, the despicable charango, a serving of cuy and a ship-full of guano. There are no words to describe it but EPIC. Or maybe insane. Or WTF. Hahaha!

All I can say is, I wish I was part of their outrageously fun and exciting adventures in Peru.
