I laughed, I cried, I winced, and absolutely raced through this book. It’s even better than the first! Joyce’s character absolutely comes into her own in this wonderful sequel, Osman writes with such wit and charm, defo give this a read!

The first one was so good I didn’t know if it was possible to follow it up with a book equally as good but this was even better. Never gobbled up a 400+ paged book so fast! Utterly addictive and the mystery itself was even more clever than last time. It had me laughing out loud every other page  and the lovely ending made me cry at 4am with joy.

A fantastic sequel to The Thursday Murder Club. The weaker parts of the first entry have really been improved upon here. The overall mystery is more contained and easy to follow along with good number of twists. We really spend more time with both main and side characters exploring dynamics and how events affect them mentally. I appreciated the realism of some of the more relatively mundane struggles such as loneliness in a new city or learning to love yourself as well as someone else. This book has solidified for me that whenever I’m looking for a fun and enjoyable read, I can always return to this series!
