I admit the story had me hooked. It took me two days to read about Christopher and his relationships to other people. He tries to listen all the time, does not like to be touched, has to follow his own routine and likes to read detective stories; which is why Christopher wanted to find out who killed his neighbors dog. The neighbor's dog death reveals family secrets that take Christopher on an interesting journey.

I find Christopher so sweet in his own way. Reading things from his perspective is so interesting.

An inspiring story narrated by an autistic teenager as he navigates large challenges and solves a mystery. Clever and respectful, this book pots you in that boys shoes and is a unique book narrator that is both eloquent and engaging.

The trigger warnings are from an autistic perspective so while still can be upsetting these have a uniquely informative perspective, less emotional upset and more logical analysis of situations and disgust at things that trigger the narrator, and there narrator's response to being upset.

You either really love this book or really don't like it I think. I loved it, it is not one of the books I usually read, but I loved the story and the point of view.
