I found this a lot funnier than I expected, and I have no idea who this guy is. Thought provoking at places, and I really liked the asides comparing modern practices to the way things were done in the 70s/80s/90s. A fascinating read. I did dislike the TripAdvisor essay, and while I see the execution he was going for, it doesn't quite stick the landing.
