reading this book was a beautiful experience

from the story line to the characters I enjoy every single minute of it!
If you want something that will suck you in a world full of girls that love the sun, embrace their feminin energy, some crime here and there, amazing smut *wink wink* and a cutie dog this is your book.

This was an amazing read! Having 10 years of being a lover of all books fantasy, it is always a pleasure to live, and immerse myself in, a new world. I absolutely couldn’t put it down and felt so connected to Amala throughout the entire book. Beautiful world building and a beautiful concept, can’t wait to see what comes next

This book gave me so many mixed feelings because Amala, she's like a constant hug of softness and love, but the story, the murder that's the backbone of the entire story, hits pretty hard because that softness and love is challenged.

I truly fell in love with Hawk, the male main character and his way of behaving towards Amala. I do love a bad boy that turns honey around the love of his life.

Chiara did an amazing job creating the worldbuilding and the way of writing is absolutely amazing, it's captivating. I can't wait to read the following book because it did leave me with a lot of questions.

3.75

The book was very enjoyable and I liked the story and how the characters grew together, it was a bit repetitive at times (especially in the first half) with the background story of the mfc. However the final plot twist was amazing! Reason for the 3.75 starts instead of 4 is that I personally prefer more badass characters rather than more soft ones but I'm excited to read the second book once it comes out!

The writing is so bad. There is no consistent tone or style. It feels like a draft of a book with great potential.

this book took me to another dimension, it was amazing. the characters are well written with a lot of story behind them. you want a enemies to lovers trope? this book has it. you want a grumpy x sunshine trope? this book has it. here you have everything you wish for in a book, even crime and smut

I just couldn’t follow the writing at times (3rd person) and the story was progressing at a weird rate. And it was just not pulling me in at all.
