🎧 I love Karin Slaughters Will Trent Book Series and had forgotten about it but what a listen to get me back into it. This is a whirlwind storyline that never takes its foot off the throttle from beginning to end. I love Amanda, Will, Sara and Faith and the dynamic between them but Slaughter really knows how to write truly deplorable characters that make your skin crawl. This one deals with a tough subject matter but it plays out so well. It’s a well developed and thought out storyline and there’s never a dull moment. This is my first of this series on audio and at times I felt the narration didn’t quite suit the characters but that’s more to do with an impression I had built up in my head from reading rather then listening. It’s a great read on audio and it really came alive. This is definitely one for your TBR pile as each instalment just gets better and better.

Thanks to Netgalley and Harper Collins UK for the opportunity to read and review #AfterThatNight

I really enjoyed this newest book but I do wish there was more Will and Faith. I was surprised by the end and what we learn. I think I will always read something from the Will Trent series.
