I would give this infinite stars if I could. This book will forever hold a place in my heart. Who doesn't love angry feminist fiction? I may add more to this review later, but again, this is my favorite book, and I use that term very sparingly.

I really love how this author ties poetry into prose and uses pieces of history to connect with the present. This book was also great for speaking out on misogyny and sexual assault. However, I do think it dragged on a little too long. Would recommend, just not if you’re in a reading slump!

I really enjoyed th mix of prose and verse. I think it made the pace more interesting than a traditional book. The story is empowering, as well as being emotional and easy to understand.
