This was better then I thought it would be!
Pros: This book was fun and entertaining. The dialogue is great, and mostly the reason why I liked this book. I also liked Alosa (even if she has a typically stupid fantasy name). She was trained to be a killer by her horrible father and she is over-confident which I thought was amusing.
Cons: Most of this book is about the romance aspect which was disappointing. We really don't get a lot of action until the end. Plus (and I know this is stupid considering this is a YA book) everyone is just too young to have had the life experiences their backstories suggest. This is going to be a little mini rant, but its the reason I dont love most YA books even when I like the premise of them. The authors write an adult character and then calls them 17. Its just so unrealistic that I end up pretending the characters are older.

thought this was cute! Not perfect but it doesn’t have to be to be enjoyable! If you need a quick and fun read I think this is nice!
