I don’t know why I keep reading the books in this series.  They are getting more and more predictable which doesn’t leave much room for enjoyment or entertainment.

Compared to the first two books, this one didn't get interesting until half way through.

Unfortunately, I think the series is getting weaker. It started off strong but by the end of this third book, I'm just finding it a little tedious. The more I read of the series, I'm also struck by the odd decision to have multi-POV in first person because they honestly read to me like the same person...there's no real variation in the voice. I'll still read book #4, but I'm not particularly excited about it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

another fantastic book in the series. i really can’t wait to finish this! prisca is such a loveable character and the relationships in this story are so sweet. we really see prisca embrace the queen in her and lorian grows as a character too. if you’ve read the other 2 books then you will definitely enjoy this one.
